My Greek adventure is getting closer by the day! It’s got to that time of the week where I just want to pack up and go, but instead I have decided to create a little fashion edit to keep my excitement at bay.
Most years when I go on holiday, I buy an entire new wardrobe, complete with bright colours, all of the new trends and a few items that I’ll probably never wear again once I leave the beach behind. However, this year I’ve decided to opt for a change of pace, and narrowed down my purchases to the basics, so my new holiday wardrobe mostly includes new bikinis, jumpsuits, and patterned trousers and shorts that I can pair with little vests and sandals. And of course, a floppy hat had to go in there for good measure, because why not?
Patterned trousers are pretty much my summer uniform, along with jumpsuits, but one thing I haven’t quite managed to master are culottes. Just as I thought, they look a little bit like a cross between board shorts and pyjama bottoms – not a great look overall. However, I fell in love with number 6, a little New Look number that fits like a dream. I still haven’t bought it, but it’s on the cards.
Obvs I’ve already bought most of these items, along with a few more for good measure – don’t worry, I haven’t left everything to the last minute. But what’s a holiday without a fashion edit?
So, without rambling any further, here are my favourite fashion picks for the beach in 2015.
Great post, love number 7! X
